Before the application of CBX ProOxidizer, the lagoon system at San Miguelito Mutual Water Company in California, had serious problems with sludge accumulation. Because of loading, poor hydraulic design and choice of aeration, the lagoons had completely turned anaerobic. A 1 1/2 foot of crust of floating sludge had developed over the surface of the primary and secondary cells creating odors and interfering with pond aeration.

After thirty days treatment with CBX ProOxidizer, the surface sludge began to oxidize and the odors disappeared. Continued application of CBX will go further to de-sludge the bottom of the pond as well as keep sludge from reforming on the surface. CBX will continue to keep the lagoon clean, and in compliance.
